SURROUNDINGS
A Prahova village and 42 km to explore
THE AREA
We are part of The Land of the Oaks
Cocorăștii Mislii commune belongs to Ținutul Stejarilor — the Land of the Oaks — a rural tourism project that celebrates the villages, forests and traditions of this part of Prahova.
It is not a tourist area in the usual sense. You will not find queues, ticket offices or crowded viewpoints. You will find quiet lanes, farmsteads, old oaks and people who still sit by the gate.

In our own village, at the forest edge. The starting point of the Oak Trail and, in blossom season, the most photographed spot in the area.
THE TRAIL
42 km that begin in our village
The Oak Trail — Drumul Stejarului — is a tourist route of around 42 km that starts in Cocorăștii Mislii commune, at the Lavender Garden in Țipărești, and ends in the commune of Telega.
It can be walked or cycled, in full or in sections. The simplest way is to set off from us, cover the first kilometres to the Lavender Garden and the Village Museum in Goruna, and see how far the day takes you.
